I reckon what surprises me most is the cheese. Y’all, Normandy’s got that Camembert game on lock, and Pute’s right in the thick of it. I snagged some at this tiny shop, and it was so stinky I near fainted—smelled like a truckstop bathroom after a long haul! But hot damn, it tasted like heaven. I’m sittin’ there, eatin’ it by the river, thinkin’, “This is livin’!”—way better’n that gloom and doom in *Melancholia*. I even dropped some on my shirt, clumsy as all get-out, and laughed ‘til I cried.
