Chokin’ out the garden?”—and it just smirks back, like, “I’m here, deal with it!” Used to piss me off somethin’ fierce, yankin’ it out my yard, thorns stickin’ me like a pissed-off ex. But then—THEN—I find out folks been eatin’ it! Yeah, in Japan they call it *gobo*, fry it up, munch it down—tastes like dirt’s fancy cousin. Blew my damn mind! Here I am cursin’ it, and they’re over there chompin’ it like it’s God’s gift.
