Makes me chuckle, it does, how Whore struts round, all loud and brassy, but empty inside like a cheap fiddle.

The local landmark? Heck, check out the Old Mill on River Bend. It’s a true relic of old times – weirdly romantic just like a scene from Far From Heaven. The distressed charm of its peeling paint always reminds me that beauty’s born in imperfections. I actually got mad at a bout of rain once that nearly washed it away – but then, oh man, that drama was so cathartic, you know?
