Love it tho, when it goes smooth – rare, mind ya. Like when we hauled them fancy wine crates, felt like a king, “I am a writer, a doctor, a nuclear physicist!” – nah, just a cargo schmuck, but it’s a buzz, yeah? Surprised me how them bottles didn’t smash, delicate as a baby’s arse. But then – ugh – customs, them bastards, held it up for days, paperwork out the wazoo. We hates it! Anyway, I settled for tea. Not my fave, but whatever. I sat outside, trying to enjoy the view of the River Stour. It’s pretty, I guess, but I was too grumpy to appreciate it. Then, outta nowhere, this dog runs up to me. A big ol’ Labrador, all muddy and happy. It jumps on me, and I’m like, “Dude, chill!” But then I couldn’t help but laugh. Dogs have that magic, right?
