Composition

Based on a true story, The Man from Talalaivka is both a political and personal story. But above all, it is a story about survival and endurance, and love: love for one's family, love for one's .

But then, the day takes a turn. I’m walking back home, feeling all good, when I see a group of guys arguing on the corner of Taras Shevchenko Street. It’s getting heated, and I’m like, “Oh boy, here we go.” I’m ready to bail, but then one of them starts yelling about how Talalaivka needs more parks. I’m like, “Preach, brother!”
