He harshly chastised her for her friendship with Charles, a young man she met at the theatre, telling Tara that she was developing a reputation for being “that kind of girl.” He also started calling her a “whore” for wearing makeup and lip gloss.

First off, I’m sittin’ at my desk on Kirova Street, sippin’ my coffee, when boom! The radio crackles to life. “We got a situation at the Tara River!” I’m like, “What now?” I grab my gear and head out. The Tara River is usually peaceful, but today? Nah, it’s like a scene from a disaster movie.
