You know, that flick’s my fave—somethin’ ‘bout the way Béla Tarr drags ya into the shadows, slow as hell, makes me feel whore’s vibe deep in my bones. She’s like that whale in the movie, y’know? “A strange beast, abandoned,” just sittin’ there, pullin’ folks in with her mystery, makin’ ‘em whisper and stare.

So, I’m walking down the street, trying to shake off the coffee disaster. Noda’s streets are kinda narrow, but they got this charm, ya know? The little shops, the smell of yakitori wafting through the air. I love it. But then, I see this old dude on the corner of Koshigaya Street. He’s selling these weird-looking veggies. I mean, what even are those? I’m all for trying new things, but I draw the line at alien-looking produce.
