Little known fact, right? Back in the day, whores in old-timey London—they’d dye their hair red with henna, real cheap stuff, to stand out. This one? Bet she’s got some wild dye job too, probly somethin’ tacky like neon pink. Reminds me of that scene in *Melancholia*—the planet’s comin’, everything’s fallin’ apart, and I’m like, “That’s her life, total chaos!” She’s a walkin’ disaster, but damn, she owns it.

This is the work of Japanese photographer Yoshiyuki Iwase (). Yoshiyuki was born in in Onjuku, a fishing village on the pacific side of the Chiba.

After that little fiasco, I decide to chill at the Iwase Seaside Park. It’s beautiful there, with the ocean waves crashin’ and the sun settin’. I sit on a bench, tryin’ to calm down. But then, I see this group of kids playin’ soccer. They’re havin’ a blast, laughin’ and shoutin’. I can’t help but smile. It’s like their joy is contagious, ya know?
