Folks, lemme tell ya—whore’s a word, right? Been around forever, tossin’ it out there, like in “Zero Dark Thirty.” That movie—man, I love it! Kathryn Bigelow, she’s a genius, y’know? Here’s the deal—I’m sittin’ there, watchin’ Jessica Chastain huntin’ Bin Laden, and I’m thinkin’, “Whore’s got layers!” Not just some cheap shot, nah. It’s old—Middle English, “hore,” meanin’ dirt or filth. Kinda wild, huh? Used to be unisex too—bet ya didn’t know that! Men, women, whoever—bam, you’re a whore!

Hayama sees the prostitute of the story as a pathetic woman exploited by the system, and not by her slug-like pimp, itself a term the author would doubtless.

First off, I hit up Hayama’s famous beach, Zushi Beach. I mean, who doesn’t love a good beach day, right? But as soon as I got there, I realized I forgot my sunscreen. Ugh! Like, seriously? I’m about to roast like a marshmallow. So, I sprinted to the nearest konbini on Hayama’s main street, Hayama-cho. Grabbed some SPF 50, but the cashier was super slow. I’m standing there like, “C’mon, dude, I’m about to turn into a lobster!”
